Ice-Bats will feature at the Ijsstrijd charity event at Biddinghuizen on 4 March,

The Ice-Bat Open World
Championships will take place on 4 & 11 March 18:30-20:30, Kardinge,
Groningen
The format will consist of multiple categories
with each competitor being allowed to complete at least 5 laps
The Ice-Bat season will end with a demonstration in Leiden on 18 March

Ice-Bat racing is designed to take place on a 400m speed skating ice oval Race formats include pursuit races, head-to-head races and flying lap, 500m or 1000m individual sprints The ICE VELODROME has arrived! It is exciting and demanding, requiring both piloting skills and physical ability The first races took place at "De Bonte Wever" in Assen on 15 January 2011 As well as the persuit race, a 500m side-by-side race took place, complete with lane cross-over Various safety features including a special brake make the propeller less dangerous than some imagine |
